Connecting Athletes
DIPS
This website is a marketing tool for the app.
The opportunity
The real USP of DIPS lies in its community. Without the users, the app would vanish.
The idea started around the first lockdown where people dreamt about getting back together. A challenging time of just sitting around for many of us.
DIPS wants to get sport enthusiasts closer together, but had to reach them outside of the app store as well.
That’s where the website comes into place.
What I did
My journey with DIPS began with an immersive workshop. This initial session was designed to create a comprehensive creative brief and gain a thorough understanding of the project's specifications. During the workshop, we delved into the target audience, identified must-have features, and discussed the overall scale of the project. This foundational work was crucial in setting the stage for a successful collaboration.
With the briefing in hand, we moved on to developing a sitemap structure and generating design ideas through moodboards and concepts. Once every brick as in place, I advanced to the wireframing stage.
This allowed us to focus on the content and layout, ensuring every element served a purpose. My friend and I discussed the website copy so I could get into layout ideas, aligning them with the project's goals.
In the design phase, I created a high-fidelity prototype in Figma, complete with animations and interactions, to test the look and feel of the website.
The outcome
The final product was a fully functional prototype of the DIPS website, designed in Figma. This prototype not only captured the essence of the DIPS brand but also ensured a consistent user experience across both the app and the website. A key feature was the bubble animation, a visual element used in both the app and the website images to maintain brand consistency and visual appeal.
